How the Chhattisgarh bill is calculated
Chhattisgarh domestic supply is billed monthly. Consumption is split across telescopic slabs from ₹4.1 to ₹8.3/unit, each band charged at its own rate. A fixed charge of ₹20 per kW of sanctioned load applies, plus a 8% electricity duty, and a ₹0.3/unit fuel/variable-cost surcharge.

CSPDCL के बारे में
When Chhattisgarh was carved out of Madhya Pradesh on 1 November 2000, under the MP Reorganisation Act, 2000, the erstwhile MP Electricity Board (MPEB) was split between the two new states. The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) began operations on 1 December 2000.
Following the Electricity Act 2003, CSEB was restructured into five companies. Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Co. Ltd (CSPDCL) was established on 1 January 2009 and is the sole distribution licensee for all 33 districts of the state, including Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg-Bhilai and Korba.
