ज़्यादातर भारतीय डिस्कॉम घरेलू बिजली का बिल टेलीस्कोपिक स्लैब से बनाते हैं — यानी प्रति-यूनिट दरें खपत बढ़ने के साथ बढ़ती जाती हैं।

Unlike most states, every unit is billed at the same ₹6.85/unit (urban) regardless of how much you use — there's no telescopic discount for staying in a lower band, since there is no band.
The 200-free-units benefit isn't universal
Around 40 lakh of JBVNL's ~46 lakh domestic consumers get up to 200 free units a month, but this depends on scheme eligibility — check your account status rather than assuming it applies.
Rural rates are cheaper and not modelled here
